Why though? like no shit after World hit with the normies they were absolutely going to push the game with the dreaded "wider market mainstream appeal" angle but to go full Inafune and remove all the core appeal and driving away the core Mohan audience.
This nearly drove Capcom to bankruptcy at the end of the PS3 era. Surely they haven't forgotten those lessons? i always heard that Capcoms leadership tried putting his son in charge as his heir at the time and after that disastrous era the old guard took the reigns again. But that was 15 years ago. Did they finally retire and the shitters are in charge again?
