I picked up the index for 1K in 2021 and it was worth every penny despite all my hesitations. The games are great and the headset doesn't feel heavy or uncomfortable. Just be careful if you go out drinking in vrchat, it's like a 24/7 party of people getting drunk and can spiral into some IRL shenanigans and there are a surprising amount of women

they are real and they are thirsty as fuck but I'm married so I try to stay away from vrchat and drinking combo. VR also financially gatekeeps out undesirables at the moment, so online gaming in PCVR is a lot like the internet in the late 90's to early 10's and is extremely comfy.

>Blade and Sorcery (make sure your room is big enough, this game is easy to get carried away with and punch walls)

Steam won. I thought I was going to have to buy more pc shit to upgrade for my additional gaming PC's due to win 10-locaust, but honestly, I think I will buy a few steam boxes for my extra PC's. The headset looks like a possible downgrade to index (controllers 100% are), and I will be buying multiple steam controllers since they are hall effect + (TMR). Blame M$ for their insolence.
And who knows, depending on the headset bundle price point, it might be good for company.
