Probably a really dumb question, but why Hojo here say 無駄な抵抗 **は**しないでください and not **を**?
I understand the sentence fully, but it just seems a bit weird to me (since I suck at Japanese obviously). Maybe to answer my own question, I'd probably translate it as:
> 無駄な抵抗はしないでください
> As for [your] futile resistance, don't do [anything]
