Fair enough. I think they did pretty well for a new economic structure that was thrown together under intense war preparations and massive unemployment. Had things turned out differently the system would probably had evolved over time to be more fluid.

I maintain my stance. Slave labor implies lifetime servitude and treatment as a product. Prison labor does not. The used prisoner labor, just like most countries in the world. Theyre different terms for a reason
