Why are Japanese people so racist against Indians even though Shintoism is based on Hinduism?

If I just search インド on social media all I get is pictures of dirty slums and Japanese female tourists getting harassed by Indian men. All the comments are always some racist bullshit.

Why do they always go to the worst places like UP and Delhi and complain? Instead they can go to Kerala and Goa.

I'm really disappointed by Japanese people because I've always respected Japan.
