tldr, but I got along well with someone from this board that makes a reoccurring thread, things went great for a while, we hit it off pretty well, we both said we loved each other, but one day he backtracked and said everything was platonic and he loved me like a sister, mind you this man had been lusting for me for a long time before that, I got extremely hurt over this and tried to back away, he refused to let me go and kept me on a leash always giving just enough to keep me around, recently after almost 2 years of this limbo I removed him from everywhere, I know its what I need, but damn does it leave a void in my soul, haven't been able to eat since.

I wanted to give that man a family, how did it end like this?
