So basically the problem is insisting the King Grayskull 200X episode took place in Preternia.
He's exactly as primitive as the earliest mini-comic He-Man and the other characters invented for that episode are pure Sword & Sorcery without technology, going as far as making his Battle Cat a sabretooth cat for "lost cities of the Pleistocene" vibes. And there were no dinosaurs, cybernetic or otherwise.
The easy solution would be to say he found Castle Grayskull some time after the Elders/five good wizards died creating it, and named himself after the place or Spirit.
