characters models are the most important thing in gacha games where the whole model is designed around selling them

if a gacha has low quality models, it's worse than its counterparts with better quality models because the characters are all that matter

HSR costs almost nothing, there are tons of old ass MMOs with no one on it that are still up, like Metin 2
the brunt of the budget is literally marketing for all gacha, and it's unrelated to the quality of the game (see HSR, it looks like putrid shit)

Ironically the more restricted camera for the "talking" cutscenes works in ZZZ's favor. Cycling between a few different poses/expressions is a lot more natural-looking when they're just facing the camera head-on instead of having to actually block out the scenes.
