Survive is a VN with some minimal srpg grid gameplay moments. It's fine but nothing spectacular, but it's also one of the only Digimon games to attempt to capture your personal companions having personalities, which sucks when the game can't match the stories execution.
World: Next Order is deliberately similar in design to original Digimon World, where it's all about the development of your Digis, as well as the exploration and restoration and finding out what is happening.
Cyber Sleuth (and by proxy Hacker's Memory) is a more straightforward JRPG, where you collect Digimon like demons in SMT, evolve them, develop their movesets, alter their stats for maximizing efficiency, and is linear in design. Probably the most succinctly designed games in the series but also very standard.
All are worth playing, but if you want something similar to the series, Survive is the most similar, being kids trapped in the world with companion digimon and events that transpire whilst they explore it. However that's a cautious recommendation as it can become a slog to go through, especially considering you need to do multiple runs to access all the routes and story. World Next Order and Cyber Sleuth are the better places to start, because they are funner games to play, whilst also having solid design all round.
