Alberta thread? Alberta thread
Let's discuss the most based province (soon to be nation) in Canada.
ALBERTA THREAD
>God damn the feds and the libs in Ottawa destroying our province! Equalization is theft!!!
>"Why don't you vote yes on Independence then and gain your freedom?"
>I-I dunno... uhh... let's ask our masters in Ottawa for a better deal..

Alberta normies, every time. When will AB boomers realize Premiers have been trying to get a "better deal" from Ottawa since the 1960s and have exactly zero successes? You don't just walk into Ottawa and expect elite political/social groups that control Canada to give up a portion of their power do you? Surely you can't be that naïve.

Whining about the abuses of Ottawa is an Alberta pastime, and when it's suggested to realize our own destiny and cut off the cancerous tumor that is Canadian federalism, most people withdraw due to fear that their pitiful gibs would be cut off. It proves most Albertans are content with invisible slavery instead of dangerous but sovereign liberty.
Alberta Independence Thread
We have approximately 1 year until the referendum on independence to increase support for it from ~30% to at least 60%.

We need to assure Boomers their retirement gibs will NOT disappear and that if they paid into the system they're owed that money by law. Yet the leftoid media and politicians are claiming that money will disappear if they vote yes.

We also need to convince young people to vote yes but that is more difficult as universities are marxist brainwashing centers who tell young adults the most important thing is DEI.

We need all anons on deck over the next year to meme us to victory. Will you join the fight?
ALBERTA THREAD
Imagine this place became its own country? It would be gigabased. The extreme seethe from leftoids alone would make it worth it.
Alberta Independence Thread
ALBERTA is heading towards INDEPENDENCE, and with it comes the promise of unalienable rights and the chance to fulfill our economic potential.

>It'll never happen bro
Incorrect. Leftoids are already at work smearing it, which is a sign of it's real possibility of success.

>First Nations would never allow it bro
Chugs do not have any veto power whatsoever. They cucked out and ceded all land in Canada to the Crown & Dominion of Canada. They vote in the referendum. If passed, each FN band would have a seat at the negotiation table. They can either stick with Canada or forge a better deal with Alberta.

>Landlocked country bro
We're already landlocked, so the point is moot. Ottawa refuses to push for trade infrastructure construction. Besides, many landlocked countries like Switzerland are doing great and have no problems exporting their resources.

>Ottawa will never let it happen bro
It's not up to them. They're legally obligated to confirm a lawful referendum on a clear question. If they end up just going, "nah, it's illegal," Alberta has the full right to unilaterally declare independence. With the USA under Trump recognizing us will ensure it goes through.

Anyone trying to convince you Alberta Independence is cringe and unachievable is a shill trying to attack the movement. We can have rational discussions on the realistic chances of success without brash assertions or aggressive ad hominems.

It's not up to them. If a majority is reached but Ottawa attempts to filibuster or vote it down anyways, Alberta will respond with a unilateral declaration of independence. Trump will be eager to recognize AB as a sovereign nation (it serves his goal of weakening Canada), and that will only snowball our legitimacy.
