Yeah, it was the Jews who collaborated with the Roman occupiers 2000 years ago. Babylon was code-speak for Rome, and Nationalist, Messianic Jews called their fellow Jews who helped the occupying goyim whores. The Sadducee elites who ran the Temple were some of these “whores”. Restoring the Temple to purity by freeing it from filthy goy influence was their main desire. That’s why the Jewish messiah Jesus was upset. Not because he thought Jews were falsely religious and greedy. Gentiles thought THAT, so it made a good story if you were hoping to convert them. It wasn’t a true story, but it was useful.
