Yes you can. In the picture it's been done. You can try out what's possible if you have the UNIBIOS in an emulator and holding the magic combination (A+B+C, I think?) during boot. Read more here:

The only game I know off which doesn't come with a good AES version is KoF 2001. Yes, you get a menu, so you can start a VS mode, but the graphics aren't there. It was the first Playmore release iirc, so maybe they rushed it...?
