My point is a more general one regardless of the particulars of your case.
A hobby is a completely elective activity, one that people can stop the millisecond they are no longer interested in it.
A hobbyist forum (as opposed to a generalist one) is created for the express purpose of gathering like minded people to enjoy something together.
It is not only natural but very necessary to kick out anyone not aligning with the goals of the place which, again, is to enjoy things together.
I mentioned this a couple of times, most of the split between the Hololive fanbase from the rest of the ones is that the Hololive one absolutely adheres to these principles I put forward, they’re STRICTLY hobbyists. They only stick with Hololive for as long as they enjoy it and, when they stop enjoying, they move on to do whatever else they enjoy.
The rest of the vtuber fanbases, for the most part, adhere to the **activist** mindset, instead of sticking around for the things they like and moving on from the things they don’t, they want to ACTIVELY CHANGE it to be more of their liking.
This result in them sticking around and demanding change, demanding to be heard, demanding to be allowed participation.
The ONLY correct course of action for the people on the hobbyist side is to make absolutely sure the activist ones are banned on sight. Anything different and the whole environment turns into an activist one, withers and dies.
