oh I don't kinkshame and there exist encrypted transmissions out there
there also exist very "intelligent people" (but idk how you scale that) that waste lots of time trying to decrypt them and sometimes even do manage to do so
but clearly there's something fishy about a modern state using unencrypted shortwave radio for planning large millitary movements ahead of time
the code breaking itself is like IQ150, but believing that assumption is like IQ 20, lol
IMO they're all "exercies" like having a calculus competition to code-break various stuff, but clearly anyone sane would use some provable cipher, nevermind PKI that you provably would not be able to break unless you had the keys
