There's the truth and then there's things like picking a religion because of personal feelings. I understand you may be from a forested area and you want deities that reflect your environment but what I'm telling is that it all comes down to one truth. If you want to understand Aryan beliefs look no further than Vedanta, the Vedas, etc.
There's a reason that Himalayan art always shows deities and "enlightened" figures with blue eyes.
