Do you use Android? I don't know if this would work for you but you could try this
>Use whatever VPN that you like, set it to Japan
>Create a JP google acc (gmail)
>Don't turn off your VPN still and go to the play store, change the acc you're using for the JP one
>If you start seeing moonrunes everything should be ok
>And just in case also change your acc on google play games
>Now you can turn off your VPN and go to the game
In theory, you should now be able to buy crystals with yen even if you didn't set your region to Japan in game, but I really don't know if this would work for someone that didn't start playing with a JP google acc, I have one only thanks to Uma and since I created it I haven't changed it
And for iOS... I don't know, maybe is kinda the same process?
