I once saw an emaciated 40+ something guy with greasy long hair, smeared make-up like a rape-victim in a movie and wearing a tight white-pink dress standing in my local bakery, not queuing up or checking the products for sale, just standing awkwardly in the middle of the shop like he is about to go on a shooting spree or have a mental breakdown.
They wanted to force me to act like this a normal, productive and cherished member of society and not a threat and/or nuisance to everyone around him. They wanted me to humor this guy's obvious delusions not only about his gender but about literally every aspect of his surroundings.
If the bakery would've thrown him out for being a threatening mentally unstable weirdo, they would get the antifa brigade attacking their shop.
