Even though the vast majority of her discography (and this album) are unnotable outside the singles, I always had a soft spot for this album's cover. Something about it, from the evening sky, to the distant power lines and industrial buildings, to the light glint of Branch's oversized belt and the overexposure of her face— idk, it just perfectly captures this sad, early 2000s nostalgia. And the stoic look-back to the camera and the leather jacket, it's as if it's memory of some ex-girlfriend or a love you never had, hitchhiking on the side of the road.

When I think of the opening guitar of "All you Wanted" this is the first image that comes to mind. Fits the sound of the album perfectly.
