I'll be real, I don't think he'll be seeing stuff too long given that he killed three people. I don't think he's getting life in prison. Though, I looked it up and apparently, in 1871 until WWI (ie. when MAO is set), they reformed their penal code to not have as much capital punishment. After WWI though, I think they stick to a pretty draconian setup.
