Chinese media tends to stay local, on Chinese platforms. Good luck fetching good translations even if you do find recommendation sites. It's much more enclosed than Jdrama which are itself more enclosed than Kdrama.
Korean stuff on the other hand is instantly on Netflix and Kpop has greater overreach due to better marketing.

Chinese stuff is also more self-referential. There's simply more baggage to pick up before delving deeper into anything. From a simple comedy movie set in Ming dynasty to a simple action game. That recent video game about Wukong confused a lot of people because everybody thought it was just Journey to the West adaptation. When in fact it was a sequel that was retreading events of the Journey to the West in chronological order but decades after they occurred. Like an in-universe soft reboot that ends with reincarnation - which also confused some people because the concept is not well understood in the west. It's not a simple respawn, it's more akin to a second coming.

Also that recent game "Blood Message"? Good fucking luck appreciating what it's all about lol. The trailer is simply incomprehensible if you're unaware of the famous story of Guiyi messengers where the disconnected remnant kingdom outlasted the mainland dynasty and them dying to deliver the good news to the main capital. Completely alien event in the west - well known and easily recognized story in China.
