XI is the best FF, single player or multiplayer.
Sakaguchi himself insisted it be mainline and treated like mainline.

It really does have the best RPG systems of the franchise, best job system, best story, best world, everything. People pass on it because of the "mmo" aspect but they are really missing out.

Probably sour grapes about the sub fee.
