You usually get more value out of them on meta supports (50% chargers), but alcas and ibuki are so insanely good that they're not bad picks for bond grails either

Sometimes? The vast majority of them aren't great since they have 0 atk and 0 HP stats (really bad on your DPS servants) but because the selection of CEs for support servants is a lot worse, the bond CEs for your support servants are much more competitive option

Also I forgot to mention that bond levels past 10 give lots of coins. If there's a servant you want to level to 120 you'll need 300 coins and bond grails are the best way to get those (outside of rolling more copies of the servant)
