Because they touted Season 3 as being this grand, epic thing and it's been pretty underwhelming all things considered.
>Axion was interesting at first but the environment and space in it is so underutilized that it became boring
>Wall Crasher became an absolute joke within the first week
>story that was so dreadfully dull that I was nearly tempted to skip all dialogue and cutscenes and I say this as someone who almost never does that in games
>more void vessel which aren't particularly well received maps
>swords in the new void vessel have a particularly grueling and frustrating grind with the devs not having addressed the real issue which is material amount you get from chests, the boss chest needing a key to open, and keys running out and leaving chests unopened isn't a good feeling for players
>swords generally being seen as useless and less effective compared to skills and guns no matter what your youtube build maker says
>the lounge is a nice idea in concept but there's nothing to do in it until December with 2.0 maybe making it more worthwhile
I'm sure there's more but those are the real main points of irritation I've seen or have issues with personally. The best thing about Season 3 so far has been the quality of life stuff and descendant buffs making more descendants fun to play. Episode 2 comes out next month and as excited as I'd like to be for that, we're getting another void vessel map and another sword. Harris will hopefully be fun but it's just hard to look forward to it when a lot more of the content isn't exactly bright.
