The other commanders thought he was a "Maddeningly pedantic", but in a funny way "communicated calm" in the heat of a battle...

Would recommend this and Tank Action (both written from the same unit even!) If anyone is interested in British tank tactics in Normandy / Netherlands / Germany. Sherwood rangers, largely running Shermans and Fireflies.
