To add on this: Asa's various needs, like having less fear of judgement from others, conflate into the big one of having more control of her own life (I would have liked to be a bit more selfish).
Denji introduces her to love and sex, he's the type of guy who is cool and makes you feel relaxed, and doesn't care if you fuck up as long as you're nice to him.
Asa is the answer to Denji's need for a purpose and uncoditional love he always craved since childhood, expressed in romantic sense.
She's domineering and want Denji for her only (she will be very jealous soon. This is a master prediction, give or take 3 momths). like Makima, but actually in love with him, and hates/doesn't give a fuck about Pochita. The opposite.
Like Reze, she dated him to kill him before falling in love with him. But only because he is Denji, and because she's convinced he's not the Chainsaw Man. The opposite.
She's also the anti-Himeno: virgin, Denji is her real love interest, doesn't drink.
She's a foil to power as well: feisty, has some anger issues, like to be praised. Gives Denji the chance to be "the man" with a woman, like he could with power. The difference is that there is sexual tension between them.
I could go on and on and on. /a/ hates this because the idea that part 2 is written with a female audience in mind and a realistic, relatable female POV makes them seethe in virgin rage.
But it's what Fujimoto has in mind. Because his stories are cathartic for him, and he leaks his own demons into them to confront them.
