You know, I didn't have "Sonic Mania 2 would've looked like shit" on my bingo card this year. Prototype or not, I don't think things would've gone well. Superstars might be a bit bland (hell its a Unity game) but I'd prefer that over saturated sewage.

Was the artstyle choice some arcane Sonic reference I don't know about? Was there something Saturn related that I missed? If so, please explain.
