Everything in the east is kinda flat boring and industrial. All the stuff near the edge of the city are new soulless builds that very far away from anything interesting. Id pick somewhere in the west that is close enough to downtown to have some character, ideally near the bow or elbow river but that also has sightlines of the mountains. Btw the west is colder but you get to the mountains quicker.
