the OGs who still work at Capcom don't seem perturbed by Infinite. whoever did probably left the company or aren't going to be involved in a new one. The collection sold a milly now so it likely will spearhead more enthusiasm for a new game around the office

I wonder if MvC could be the exception to the realism route since Infinite already tried that and got shitted on for it. There's probably only a few people in existence who wouldn't want MvC4 to have a coloful comic book look again.
Capcom still has access to MvC OGs like the Venom guy who they showed in a promo vid for the collection. Plus they still have my Bengus wengus working there.

ArcSys being encouraged by Marvel Games to go for an anime look is a good sign because it likely means MCU influence towards its aesthetic from higher ups could not usurp Marvel Games authority Things likely don't work the same way back in 2016.
