In a Chaos run, there should be a quest where you need to collect three keys.
One key is obtained by spending your Rest Site action.
One key comes from defeating powered-up elites.
One key is gained by sacrificing equipment at a teleport node.
After you defeat the Interior Boss, copy your card, and claim your purple equipment, you’re transported to an even deeper floor.
This floor contains one Rest Site with a shop, one Elite node, and the Final Boss node.
The Elite on this floor is special, they surround you on both sides, and the camera zooms out during the fight. They hit extremely hard and inflict Burn statuses on top of your draw pile.
Then comes the Final Boss: The True Chaos Core.

He can force you to end your turn after you’ve played 12 cards, and this card count persists between turns. This prevents low-value card spam decks from cheesing the fight.
He also has a maximum damage cap — you can’t deal more than 25% of his total HP in one turn. This stops both stall and burst decks from bypassing the fight.
After you defeat him, the credits roll: Chaos Zero Nightmare.
