I think Baba's major flaw is that it rarely has more than one solution to solving the puzzle. Usually the solution requires a specific order of operations. You may have the steps, but they are out of order. Or you could know all the steps except a middle step. Usually the levels try to set you up and push you towards the right direction. That gets lost in later levels, especially ones where many steps are involved.
I love Baba Is You, but I also hate how frustrating it can be at times. Wonderful game, but also unnecessarily complicated at times. The further I've got into the game the more solving a puzzle has become 'oh damn I had the order wrong, finally solved it and can leave this level..' instead of that eureka moment it should be.
