Since we're talking about what the season left us, I'll give my opinion of Kamitsubaki-shi Kensetsuchuu... it was simply bad or mediocre at best, I would say part of the blame was the CG or the VAs clearly sing better than they act, or that the boys contributed much less than expected (the Digimon Adventure partners have more personality) I think there were attempts at yuri, which went nowhere or were handled really badly, one of the girls had a female partner and it was honestly mediocre.

Near the end, some decency or potential was shown that this series could have had, if it weren't, you know, bad.

The franchise has fans, but I don't think this anime is going to do it any favors, even using the fans as a source of energy or a "miracle" to save the day (literally) the fans deserve better, although I don't like that the dialogues in the concert felt like Naria Girls again.
