You die and stop existing anyway, the real goal is to stop the cycle of suffering (samsara) but this is compromised by having a goal in the first place. You can call Buddhism an “unframeworking framework” a framework that helps unframework. It is inherently false, it is by definition the exact opposite of enlightenment but can be used as a guide to find the cessation of samsara by ending the two active habits of clinging to experiences you like and pushing away or avoiding experiences you don’t like. You can’t end samsara with something active like following Buddhism. You end it by STOPPING clinging and avoiding.

Imagine you are playing a video game and you don’t know the controls. You try to press all the buttons but none of them do your “goal”, turns out it’s an anti-goal. Set the controller down and you’ve succeeded.
