I really don't know why people act like Jive's ranking system is some sort of canon of skill rankings, like 80% of players were in Rookie or Bronze so it was effectively non-functional for almost everyone trying to play the game while SF6 actually spread those people out to different ranks with only some minor fuckery of too many people being in Platinum because of LP welfare. You aren't in Master as a result of the game being bad (which it is), you're Master because it represents the upper 5% instead of the upper 0.1%. Yes that means Master in Dix is statistically equivalent to around Ultra Gold or Platinum in Jive (the SFV system also has the issue of lots of players that escape the Rookie/Bronze underhive being way under rank because of the grind), it also means you don't have Warlords getting matched with Diamonds anyways because there's not actually enough players to form a rank band.
You want to jerk off how high you can make number go that's what Legend rankings are for.
