that's funny, also I loved the whole princess kiss gag, felt very seasons 3-6 to me.
I really really liked Fionna's drunk breakdown, it felt very geniune and relatable and you can see how she got into that headspace. Although Fionna's concern is that she's still a loser after saving the world, it is relatable to anyone who managed to do something cool in their life only to end up in an emotional slump again.
My problem as it has been with the previous two episodes is again, the pacing. The first season had a perfect balance of the main "action" and the real emotional issues, but this season completely lost that balance imo and almost all of it has been just Fionna's relationship issues. We have reached episode 4 and the characters have not even ended up in the main plot yet, its really dumbfounding to me how misused the screentime is this season. This episode begins with a 2 minute long dream sequence that's completely useless to the characters. We already knew very well that Fionna cared about DJ Flame a lot, what's the point of her fantasy dream with him?
