What are you talking about? The only good games they have made are Nioh 1 and Nioh 2.
Nioh 1 was in a 15+- years development hell and only materialized thanks to FromSoftware insiring Team Ninja, before that, Nioh 1 got rebooted during development multiple times.
Then came Nioh 2, which build upon the core of Nioh 1, the changes and improvements are excellent, but time proved that they weren't because of some mastery of game design, but pure luck. Why? Because every game after Nioh 2 has been absolute dogshit.
Stranger of Paradise added easy mode difficulty, mandatory companions and usurped a more casual IP (Final Faggotry) in order to appeal to casuals, it failed.
Wo Long simplified and dumbed down the nioh gameplay, added a universal parry that is the best defensive option vs every attack and added semi-mandatory companion during missions, it tried to appeal to the casuals and it failed.
Rise of the Ronin added easy mode difficulty and literal cheats disguised as "accessibility", it went full open-world to appeal to the vile braindead casual masses, it also had companion missions... once again, they tried to appeal to the casuals and failed.
What did they learn from this? Nothing. They took elements from these 3 failed dogshit games and forced them into the Nioh IP with Nioh 3.
Nioh 3
>Nioh 3
>open-world/field time wasting nonsense
>weapons locked to ninja style will not have weapon stances
>samurai and ninja style split = double the inventory/build management autism
>graphics look bad
>performance suffers because of the open-world/field
Nioh 3 killed the IP for me. Not buying this abomination, maybe I will pirate it at some point.
