Most FE fans literally do not know who those characters are. Three of those characters are from Japan-only games that sold 200k copies 40 years ago.

Are you really so shocked that more people know a character from a game that sold 4 million copies globally than Japan-only ones that are older than the average FE player?

It's the same reason Sylvain will beat Sigurd next year, it is an objective fact that more people know who Sylvain is than there are who know who Sigurd is. You're asking why people don't know characters from Japan-only games from the 90s.
The average 3H character is more well known than most MCs are, it's just a fact. IS don't make their old games playable.
