Even we get tax refunds anon. Still, I thought the plan with the tariffs was to eliminate income tax for ordinary Americans? If its just going to "reduce the deficit" what it means in effect is that the state is taxing American business and American consumers and then will probably give the money back to corporations (because Trump can't keep TACOing, he'll need another mechanism for fixing what he fucks up) if certain demands are met.

This is advocated by Karl Marx in "The German Ideology" as a the way of creating a ratchet mechanism to force socialism. Have fun I guess.
