People need to understand the mechanics of how the entertainment industry actually reached this point if we want to deconstruct it.
>HURRRR CORPORATE GREED
>DURRRR IT GOT TOO BIG
They use entertainment as a platform to push for socialism, and the reason why anime became big was because people preferred the sexiness, cuteness, and edge of anime over the feminized blandness of Hollywood. Neither of these explanations make sense.
The problem is dishonest, soulless, uncultured narcissists who've coopted all of our wealth through socialism (the trick is that they launder it through proxies; agencies -> NGOs -> hedge funds), which is why they push for more socialism in our media. They don't actually care about chasing a wider audience, which is why they aggressively ignore downward trends and negative audience feedback. That's just a convenient excuse for their behavior. It's actually all about leaving their mark and taking revenge on their rivals (which also happens to include customers who reject their slop). It's all very effeminate.
They'll never truly be defeated until socialism is destroyed and they're finally left holding the bill for their schemes. No bailouts.
