let me drop an actual schizo theory I just came up with:

Asa/Yoru are a single entity, is not like Pochita and Denji were they can separate. The war devil effectively turned in a fiend, just leaving the original consciousness intact for the sake of understanding humans.

If Denji removes the side of the brain where Yoru's consciousness exists, Asa will remain as the true war devil.

Now, if this is the case, I wonder what will happen with Yoru. It would be incredibly funny if somehow she survives, but regenerates as a human.


TL;DR

Asa will keep Yoru's powers if Denji removes the devil side of her brain.
