yes. you can consider this from many angles. we don't want to be zealots so we should be practical.
but the approach differs by whether we work from a moralist or utilitarian (not the philosophy) perspective.
if we're moralists, we're interested whether an individual might be considered moral despite being part of universal evil.
if we're utilitarians, we're interested in the best macro outcome. that, of course, would be glassing moscow.
