The term "biomecha" comes from H.R. Giger who called his art "biomechanical". Look into Giger if you haven't. That's always a fun ride.
So the Alien from Alien is easily the most recognizable biomecha. Evangelion are considered biomecha because of the organic component under the surface.
As far as other anime I've seen Aura Battler: Dunbine and Brain Powerd. Highly recommend Brain Powerd.
I don't read a lot of manga, but I consider Blame! to be biomecha. Or at least biomecha adjacent.
Bionicle are biomecha - Lego will tell you it's the "Bionic Chronicle" but "Bionicle" is another portmanteau of "biomechanical" and the whole issue is these robots who are mysteriously alive, so...
