Ageing is not smooth and linear. There's points in time when people seem genetically programmed to age overnight. I've known people who look late 20's into their 50's, then one year boom, white hair in a month, loads of wrinkles and it looks like they just aged 20 years in a few months. Around 70 is another point.

The internet seems to have twisted people perception of time.
