When your making a painting and you think "some nigga is really gonna put this shit in they living room" it really shocks your perspective. I'm making a 1.5x1.5m painting of an angel with red wings and horns and I'm like who the fuck will put this in their living rooms. It looks cool but you'd have to be very eccentric to do that. I suppose that's why people buy abstract shit because it doesn't say or mean anything, it's just there. Now this doesn't mean I will change my style, but yeah it's weird.
