Bad pacing, a potential conflict between Marin and a new character that ends up being a simple gag after being dragged on way too long, too much stuff going on with side characters for a single arc, misunderstandings between Marin and Gojou that go in into the next arc, the cosplay itself is store bought so less interesting if you're into that aspect, and the cosplay is centered around a group outing so it got confusing keeping track of who's who for some readers. All while the manga started slowing up it's release schedule with a wave of new people came from the anime. On the bright side we got canon Marin nipple but I think you can guess how that'll go for the anime
