I’ve hit a breaking point. Watching Trump literally keep the Club World Cup trophy, the actual gold-plated original, is beyond outrageous. FIFA had to hand Chelsea a replica because he’s hoarding it in the Oval Office? The guy treats international trophies like trophies in his golf game, except there are real teams working their asses off to win them.
He hijacked the stage, pushed aside icons like Cole Palmer and Reece James, and basked in the applause and boos alike. Meanwhile FIFA cozies up to him, moving their NYC office into Trump Tower just to keep favor. It’s blatant corruption, plain and simple.
This isn’t about soccer. It’s about power porn. He’s showing he can claim anything he wants, national pride or global symbols included. If he can steal a trophy from a deserving team, what’s stopping him from grabbing the 2026 World Cup spotlight next?
I can’t support this. A leader who flaunts wealth and influence, who sidelines real champions for photo ops, makes a mockery of merit and effort. I want accountability, integrity, true representation, not a corrupt circus where the powerful rewrite the rules on a whim.
That’s why I’m done with Trump. His presidency has shown me that power in his hands means empty grandeur, shameless theft, disrespect for hard work. This November, I’m casting my vote for someone who champions fairness, respect, and genuine service, not gilded stage grabs and trophies stolen for show.
