Just another uncomfortable hunch here, but the weakest link in the First Island Chain™ that serves to deter the Communist Party of China from doing its special military operation to Taiwan, is us, the Philippines.

It's no wonder that I sense an "uncomfortable rush" from the United States, Canada, and Europe, to give our country new war toys to point at mainland China.
And I strongly suspect that there's foreign glowies working overtime here, to dramatically weaken the political capital of the CCP-friendly Duterte faction.

And with that vented out, it's simply gonna much more tragic for Myanmar, then.

Myanmar is the new Syria.
May God Almighty have steadfast mercy on Myanmar.
