Look, it's got great graphics, an amazing soundtrack, cringekino dialogue and voice acting, everything outside of the gameplay is 10/10
but the gameplay itself is just not fun. backtracking endlessly is not fun. all of the non-healing items are useless. the RPG system trivializes the boss fights by allowing you to level up and find currency to buy healing items while you go back and forth through the castle.

Super Metroid mogs it in every way.
