Yeah after I made that post I tried to dig into it and it seem to be the case. Oh well, time to level desynth when I remember to then!

I just desynth'd like 10 PLD swords a month ago and I only got 1 crystal thing so it's hard to say whether that was 1% or 10% considering I don't have a lot of data lol.
