Listen I can tell you're trying to turn this into a big flame war but there's literally nothing to defend. "Wow, just like it's always been." is just you admitting that Nintendo pulled a bait and switch about real time trainer movement and the game is even more primitive than Legends Arceus was.

On top of the game having pretty bad graphics and animations, here's the standout features of the game and all of it could have just been turn-based. Nothing would have been lost. It's a turn-based game in a 3D environment. Their big revolutionary idea is Active Time combat which hasn't been a new idea since the Super Nintendo.

Of course people think that's shitty. Why do you think that's acceptable?
