NTA. The answer is just to diversify and not have all eggs in one basket.
Those that have been exclusively on Twitch since the pandemic years have been starting to multistream because they do genuinely have some anxiety over where Twitch as a platform is going.
Up until around mid 2025, it hasn't really been clear where the viewer trend was going to go.
These days though, especially with the years and years of bullshit that's been going on? A lot of streamers feel the platform is fucked with no competent captain to sort shit out. So more are deciding to multi-stream.
Plus, if done right, it's a win-win.
If Twitch sorts its shit out? Cool. Not really a negative to have redundancy.
If Twitch burns to the ground? Fine, best to be diversified and established on other platforms BEFORE that happens.
